Sharina Muzahid Chowdhury previously the first Junior Partner at Farooq and Associates between 2016 to 2022, and Associate at Farooq and Associates between 2013 to 2016, currently advises us on an ad-hoc basis in special cases.

Over the years her key area of practice has been cross-border transactions for infrastructural development and power sector projects. Her practice was integral to building the firm’s Public Private Partnership, Public Procurement Projects and the Project Financing teams.

She has extensive experience in advising various ministries of government; multilateral development agencies such as the Asian Development Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the World Bank to name a few; and numerous leading local and foreign corporations in commerce, finance, industry, and energy.

Sharina frequently undertakes individual consultancy in projects in the renewable energy, climate awareness and social development sectors.

Her expertise is unique and acquired through long and active involvement in designing frameworks for, and resolving problems that arise in, the complex network of systems that need to be engaged and established for organising projects of the breadth and significance as those in her portfolio.
